Hours of operation are 8 AM to 10 PM each day activated.
The community resource center is available for anyone in need of information and resources during an emergency or PSPS event. If for any reason the CRC located at BVES’s main headquarters is not available, an alternate site will be chosen and communicated to the community through various media channels, social media, and the company website.
Your safety is our first concern
Our Community Resource Center is equipped with the health of our employees, customers, and visitors to the Big Bear Valley in mind. As such, and in accordance with CDC guidelines, we will be monitoring:
- Social distancing
- Routine deep cleaning of all touch surfaces
Know where to go during an extended outage
During an emergency or PSPS event, BVES will notify customers by either phone, email, two-way-text messages, various media outlets, social media, and/or the company website informing customers that the CRC has been activated.
Our website, social media platforms, and news media outlets will also be used to broadcast information about areas affected by Power Shutoffs and resources available.

- Phone charging
- Up-to-date information on outages
- Batteries/charging for medical devices
- Access to cellular network service
- PSPS representatives
- Transportation to and from the CRC (if available)
