BVES is attempting to utilize its small power plant to restore and maintain electric service to as many customers as possible. If your power has been restored, we ask that you make every effort to minimize electrical usage by turning off unnecessary lights and appliances and reducing overall power consumption. Conserving electricity will allow BVES to provide electric service to as many customers as possible while the Public Safety Power Shutoff remains in effect.

Customers in need of information, device charging, water, or other essential resources during the Public Safety Power Shutoff are encouraged to visit Bear Valley Electric Service Community Resource Center. The Community Resource Center is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. during a Public Safety Power Shutoff. Community Resource location - 42020 Garstin Drive, Big Bear Lake.
